Anyway, the iTunes Music Store opened today in the Netherlands, which opens many possibilities... and already one issue.
My friend is having a birthday soon and I thought of giving her a gift certificate. As far as I understand it, the moment I fill in the form, she will receive a nice looking certificate in her email, and she will be able to redeem it.
Question 1: Will she be forced to register in any way to redeem the certificate? I'm especially concerned about such issues as credit card, etc. I don't want to give her something she won't be able to use.
Question 2: I would prefer to give her a certificate in print, and I'd prefer to test it earlier than on her birthday (otherwise I still have time to regroup and think of something else :) ). Would it work if I sent a certificate to one of *my* emails, and then print the necessary information? I suppose there's some sort of code or link involved, or is it more complicated?
The info on iTunes is pretty sketchy, and while I can test it all myself, I'd rather ask first, hoping some of you already know the answer. Thanks!
