With any extra disk space, you can copy files from one disk or volume to another. That, in effect, defragments them. Safer than Norton, I think. And if you want to fix any bad blocks, you can reformat your drive(s) beforehand.
Good idea, except most of my 120GB disks are almost full, but I suppose buying one more "maintenance" disk would solve that...
