We have a clamshell iBook 300 with a battery that is completely dead. On top of that, the screen has a pronounced red tint to it. I can see some blue and green coming through, but all white areas of the screen are quite pink. The family member using the machine said that the condition developed gradually. I expect to receive a replacement battery next week, and hope that might clear up the problem. If not, what component would cause such a condition?
