I would also buy a module made for the 3400c if a return warranty was given, as these seem to have about a 50% compatibility rate with the G3 Kanga.
I'm not looking to spend a lot of money as I've recently bought 3 PowerBooks to equip the whole family (Kanga, Lombard and Pismo).
