We just donated our old Powerbook (G4 867) with an Airport Extreme card to my nephew. My brother-in-law has a Windows based wireless network in his house. The Powerbook used to connect to my home network that uses an Airport Extreme basestation and WEP password protection. My brother-in-law's network uses no security (dangerous, I know). Anyway, his network shows up in the list, but when we try to log on, it asks for a password. I don't understand. Should I set up a new location possibly so that it doesn't look for the old Airport network? What is the solution to convince the Powerbook that it doesn't belong to my old Airport Network and find it's new home?
