Laurent, The Epson scanners also work well with 10.3.7. I am currently using an Epson Perfection 1670 and have been very happy with it, although I am planning to upgrade to the 4180 in the next couple of months. I am doing a number of scans of my grandfather's war photos and need a scanner with better resolution etc.
