It is still a nice machine, though it is very thick and heavy by today's standards. Mine only 32MB of ram, so I'm using OS 8.6 and both RAM Doubler and Speed Doubler with great results. If my G4 ever did have problems, this makes a fine substitute, as it runs Office 2001 very well, gets right on the wireless network with the cheap Lucent card I bought last year, and overall feels just as fast or faster (old OS and apps will do that) than the new machine.
