I'm not sure, I don't know where to find a copy of Python that's that age, I tried to install the Python Kitchen Sink thing on top of the other Python installation, and that didn't work, but I don't know exactly what version it is...
When I first tried this on Panther, even the Python apps that come with Panther, like PackageManager, wouldn't even run, they'd immediately crash after a dock bounce or two...I was able to dick around and finally convince PackageManager to run, and after some more stuff that hopefully didn't hurt the system, use PackageManager to download all the Pygame stuff and things that are needed for that, but it still doesn't help any with Pydance.
