What would be nice is dual expansion bays and ports on the back. Not asking for too much, is it? With today's technology, third party companies would have a field day with expansion bays being available on new PowerBooks. For the most part, in my opinion, a BTO means "build to order". What is actually happening though, is not BTO. It's like buying a car with or without a stereo. Nothing is changed, just simply added or subtracted. If I want a BTO, then I want a BTO. . .know what I mean?Who cares about cost. . .
Apple, if they want to stay in the portable computer business. The PowerBooks are already very more expensive than a PC notebook (and worth every penny, IMO) and Apple can't depend on us to buy a new one every six months to keep them in business.
