I just don't get tablet PCs. The entire point of my carrying my laptop around with me is so I can type rather than have to write, and if I can't read my own writing, I highly doubt my computer could, either! If you'd rather write than type, why not just use paper?
Well, a lot of people aren't going to use it for extensive typing. Web surfing and checking e-mail for example. There are a lot of things that can be done without typing. Now if they came up with a decent compact keyboard you could use when you do really need to type. Actually a combination of a tiny keyboard such as on some Handspring PDAs for really light typing and a minimal "real" keyboard, probably wireless would work well.
