I just got my laserwriter back from some laser repair co. near chicago. they really work on HPs and those platform...but they said they did fix it. and yes it kicks out its test sheet.
I plugged it in to the wall and using the same cable from my epson i plugged that into the printer, as I don't have a fancy switcheroo thingy so I can have multiple printers. I reinstalled the Laserwriter software... but nobody's home looking in the chooser window... Chooser doesn't recognize it...i have forgotten how to hold my mouth just right with this gizmo as its been 3-4 years since the laserwriter II NTX was my primary printer, and worked. It took a long time to find someone to fix it since the printerman at weingarten's passed away. what am i doing wrong? or am I missing software? thanks for any help you might have to offer.
