Watch out Apple seems to have a typo in their manual for 12'' PowerBooks. I have 1GHz model and the memory that fits is PC2100 DDR266 200pins. Double check against Mactracker (freeware). I have been searching for the model they list in the manual for about 30 minutes before I realized this was a typo.
Based on what MacTracker lists for your machine you will need the same RAM. I inserted 512MB chip.
