I just saw Jennifer Washburn, author of "University, Inc." (she writes a lot on higher ed issues) on BookTV and she feferred in passing to the now "quaint" term 'information superhighway'.


You'd think the OED would leave it as an archaic term. It might be good for a student in 2040 to have it defined as used in the 1990s/early 2000s.
