I acknowledge that you most likely already know and have double checked
this, but, have you set up and enabled file sharing on both machines and
_double checked_ your settings (name, password, volume file sharing checked
to on, enabled read, etc.) ?
Which leads me to ask, can you see either of the machine's volumes in the
filesharing client window (i.e. Appleshare in 9.1, I don't know about OS X)?
