If it's a question between VPC 7 from Microsoft and the prior version from Connectix (was that 6?), I'd choose the Connectix version. Though VPC 5 will most likely be faster with your hardware and Windows 98 SE and Mac OS 9. VPC 6 with Windows 98 SE is supposed to be faster under OS X though and that is also my experience. But stay at win 98SE. I really dislike the Microsoft version that for some reason repeatedly wrecks my windows install every week or so.
