Firefox 1.0.3 is the latest version. Is that what you are running? Try clearing caches (privacy preference pane) and other info stored while browsing. My firefox is working fine.

Repair privileges/permissions?

Hmmm... I have not experienced this. In fact, I was noticing how faster all pages load under Firefox since the upgrade.
