I just got my powerbook back from its second trip to texas for work, and they scratched up the top panel of my powerbook. No biggie, they will replace it, but, unless i want to send it back to texas AGAIN, I need to find a place with a certified tech to replace the panel.... I went to the local store, and for that kind of work, they ship it to texas.. id rather not have it gone another week... any thoughts? I live in central cali, and the nearest "Apple" store is about an hour.. think they can do it? The local place here said they could over the phone, only when i got there did the story change...
