The only 802.11x issue I've heard of with recent PB's was the TiBook had less reception due to all the metal, but they moved the antenna plus added autoconfig stuff (2 antennas for 802.11x if you don't need the one for BT).

Is this b router, g on the powerbook slowdown a real issue? I don't see much for google hits at this time.


Hi I have a G4 ibook with airport extreme fitted and i connect through a graphite base station. I have no speed issues and all my macs surf happy enough and quick enough for what i use them for.

Unless you are doing heavy file up-down loads a b router shold be fine.
