Hi Listas

I have Ti-Book 800MHz with 1gig of RAM, and a 155 GB firewire hd attached. I'm running 10.4.1. I've been using this machine as a desktop unit, always on and plugged in. I probably killed the battery that way but ever since I installed Tiger, I can't restart or shut down without forcing those functions. I unplugged the charger to see how long the battery would go for... the battery shows 98% to 100% charge all the time... but when I unplug the charger I get about 7 minutes of battery time and then it reads 0. I'm wondering if these 2 symptoms indicate corrupted NVRAM. The fact that it no longer completes a shutdown is what makes me think so. The battery may still have some ability to recharge if I reset the PMU. Anyone have any thoughts on this? Thanks for your thoughts.
