> What's the difference between old and new world?

Old World has the ROM toolbox in true ROM, and it resides there.

New World has the ROM toolbox in RAM, and that toolbox is actually loaded
from disk and copied into RAM, where it resides.

Old World has an 8 GB (or first 8 GB) limitation on the size of the boot
partition for X. New World has no limitation.

Examples ...

Wallstreet w/40 GB drive, must be partitioned into 8 GB and 32 GB
partitions, and the OS loaded into the 8 GB partition.

Lombard w/60 GB drive, no partitioning required, entire (and only) 60 GB
used as boot partition.

For Old World Macs, set the first partition to 7999 MB, and partition the
remainder from there.
