 <snip> I bought Portfolio 7.

Now I am in the process of trying to catalog my files and it is a struggle (anybody on the list who uses it and is willing to help a newbie --let me know off list). I have found Extensis support to be almost non existent and when I query their "knowledge base" I get a listing of every article in it. I have not found a user's forum so at this point no help seems to be available.

I have considered selling my copy on eBay and absorbing the loss, but now have decided to keep working at it. Needless to say, I would not recommend Portfolio. And advice to others is to start now with something--don't wait until you have thousands of images.

I have found Portfolio Desktop Edition 5.0.2 (running in Classic under 10.4.2) to be very intuitive and easy to use. I have been recently planning to upgrade to the latest OS X version but your message has given me pause.

Could you be more specific about the problems you are having?

Thank you,

David
