It sounds like the processor doesn't respond, whether it's damaged or the
daughterboard it is sitting on is not firmly in place. Believe me, the first
time you put back the daughterboard, it's frightening the amount of force
that you need to apply. I would suggest you remove the keyboard again remove
and put back the daughterboard. Pay attention where the pins are located and
put your pressure over there, making sure that the pins are aligned with the
connector. You should feel it when it goes down.
