A friend's TiBook went kerflewie. Classic stopped working. Her install disc of OS 9.2.2 fails. I'm going to help her with my 9.0.4 disc. Questions:

1. Will 9.0.4 actually install onto her computer?

2. Should we start up from the Install Disc, or from within OS X?

3. Should we trash all other classic OSes on the computer before going ahead with this re-install?

She's going to have to upgrade, update by update, to 9.2.2 from the discs. Any problem with this? Should it be done within OS X or 9?
