I was told also that I needed to update my browser..although my
browser is Safari and I have the latest version.
So far, every problem I've had with Safari on eBay has been eBay's
fault. They've been decent about fixing 'em, even tho it took days.
This is one of the reasons we need to be armed with multiple browers.
Of course, keep in mind that if you spoof your browser's identities
then you're actually doing us all a disservice. eBay's access
statistics will then show that fewer people are using Macs and/or
Safari -- which will give them less reason to fix the problem...
in a discussion with one of their live help people today, I was
told "if you were using a regular computer, you would be fine" when
I was asking about the sign-in problems I was having.
The box said "Windows 3.1 or better..." So, I bought a Macintosh.
