It appears that eBay is not really that Mac friendly. In fact, in
a discussion with one of their live help people today, I was told
"if you were using a regular computer, you would be fine" when I
was asking about the sign-in problems I was having.
Anyway, it appears that some of the problems I am having are
related to my not using a "regular computer" and not having an up-
to-date browser that works with some sites.
I don't believe that the tech knew what he was talking about. My wife
and I are heavy users of ebay for some years. We use a 15" Ti-book
and never have problems except when there's a slowdown with heavy
network use. Then things take longer to load. But there is no
interface problem. The tech is ill informed or just a nasty Mac
hater. I'm sure your problem lies elsewhere.
You mentioned that you have a keyboard problem. Someone suggested
that you try another keyboard and another mentioned all the settings
to check. Sounds like good advice. Wish you luck.
