Can you still play DVD movies with it? I know Patchburn lets you make non Apple burners work with Apple tools, but I wasn't sure if you lost the ability to play DVDs by going with a 3rd party drive. I base this fear on the fact that I can't play DVDs using a 3rd party DVD drive on my iMac DV (its internal DVD drive has eject problems, so I try not to use it much). However, I freely admit that I don't know if the failure is because it is a 3rd party drive, or because it is external. As such, I'm just looking for a confirmation that the Pismo, when using a 3rd party drive to replace the original internal DVD drive, will still allow you to play DVD movies. If I can get that confirmation, I'll take the jump and get myself a DVD/CD-RW drive and make the swap. -chris <http://www.mythtech.net> -- G-Books is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
