I use a 15" Powerbook with iCurve and an external Dell  LCD.

There is a hack out there which will allow some iBooks to use monitor 
spanning (2 separate screens) as opposed to mirroring (2 identical screens).

You will love the extra workspace when you are home.

I use a 21" at home which lets me watch TV using "picture in picture".

At work I have  a 17"... No TV though :-/

I also have an external keyboard for both (Apple Wired at work and Wireless 
at home) and mouse.
