E-mail trouble reporting to Earthlink apparently works.
Three days after receiving a form-letter response that they had received my
e-mail trouble report, my DSL connection was working again, and without
further action on my part.
I have yet to receive a form-letter response stating that the problem was
"closed", however.
I did sent another e-mail confirming that the DSL problem was fixed, so I
would anticipate receiving another form-letter response "closing" the
incident.
In my earlier attempts to get Earthlink's level one support to address my
problem, they would not even open an incident.
So, I guess the most reliable way to get Earthlink's attention is via e-mail.
