No, it doesn't work, either it has a different IP #, or I'm doing something
else wrong somewhere. I tried ZTerm, NCSA Telnet (both provided on the
Netopia CD), Nifty Telnet and Better Telnet. All I can get from it is
"remote host or gateway not responding".
ZTerm is supposed to be able to connect to the router through an AppleTalk
port on the back, but all I get with AppleTalk turned on is "printerport
not available". If I turn AppleTalk off, or set it to connect through
ethernet, I can get what looks like a connection, but no options, menus or
whatever never turns up. Sometimes I get some gibberish, nothing more.
When I try to access with the Telnet apps, I get flashing on the "Receive"
led, and when I use the phone or modem, I get green light in the "Ready"
led and flashing on a "Link/Mgmt" led, so I guess the thing is alive.
Ideas?
