No matter which application I try to upgrade, it always fails. I have tried
upgrading Stuffit from 6.0 to 6.1 - Photoshop from 6.0 to 6.0.1 - TechTool
Pro from 3.01 to 3.03 - Nothing works. I have reformatted my hard drive and
re-installed System 9.1 but this hasn't helped either. When I tried the
updates I did them with extensions off and on, and virus protection off and
on but nothing seemed to matter. I get different errors and it says cannot
complete update (or something like that). I don't know what to do. I am
using a Beige G3/300 Desktop with a CD, Zip, and two 6GB IDE drives. Is
there a problem with this model of G3 with System 9? I have tried
performing these program updates under 9.04 and 9.1 with no success. HELP!
