The messages usually say the update cannot be completed. The Microsoft
Office update would stop with a message about a resource not being modified.
Sometimes the resource would change each time I ran the update. Usually
there was a -15 in the dialog box. I haven't tried going back to System 8.x
because I like System 9 better.
Yes, it is odd that I do a clean OS install, upgrade to 9.1 and do a clean
install of the apps but I cannot upgrade the apps.
