i just did some fresh os 9.1 installs, the installer still does mostly
what it wants. some things it will leave out of a custom install,
others, like explorer, get installed even if you de-selected them, as do
some of the extensions. i've had similiar experiances with 8.5 and 8.6.
the installer will install anything you select, it's just that it will
still install what it knows you really wanted...
