I don't know but I *suspect* that it would apply to any G4 ZIF. An easy way
to test would be to get the G4/500 you want and try it (since these
mail-order co's often have money back policies).

Make sure you find out the details on this (& let us know if you want). I
wonder what they would've done to by-pass the B&W G3 block? XLR8 has the
patch, I don't know what Sonnet does to bypass the block (since they claim
G3 B&W compatibility).

So what is the Metabox card? Is that the ZIF your G4/400 in your B&W is on?
Or is it something else? Yep, our B&Ws are unique in not being *allowed* to
run a processor that they can (Apple @Q#$)(*&@)(*$&(@#$&).

BTW You could always pop in a G3/500 into the B&W. That processor's plenty
fast and should make most people happy (plus, it's cheaper than a G4/500 by
50%).
