As this thread has gone off topic a bit, I'll restate my problem. I am still not able to permanently change the password on my computer. I have done it through Users/Groups, through File Sharing, through OS set-up assistant. I've even downloaded a new OS 9.1 updater from Apple. No luck. Why will this $%*!@ computer not let me change my password??
