You better get more memory before you try installing OSX, at least 256 Mb
from what I've heard. Even more is better. 300mhz is slow (though workable)
for an OSX machine, too. A G4 is best for OSX. X comes w/ OS 9.2, I think
you have to have it in fact. The iMac-listers are of the consensus that If
you aren't installing X don't upgrade to 9.2 just use 9.1. Some say you need
model-specific or Generic OS CD's but I installed 9.1 on a clone and an iMac
with a PowerBook 9.1 disk, so it can work.
