I spent quite a while searching through XLR8yourmac files last night ('til
0300) and didn't find but one person who had left a review of a G3 processor
upgrade who said the ROM dimm on the rev A (or 1) Beige was a problem for
him. An excerpt from him and part of the columnist's reply follows. So it
appears that in maybe 90% of the cases the ROM dimm on rev 1's is not a
problem in processor upgrades, but the problem has occurred on occasion.
Guess I will go ahead and get one and try it.
