Hi ya'll, I find that there are three or four ways to best deal with spam:

#1 get a mac.com address. My mac.com addresses (I have four or five) are
virtually (if not _completely_) spam free

#2 use the "filter" (Eudora)/"rules" (Outlook Express)/"Junk Mail Filter"
(Outlook Express) features of your software (don't know if Netscrape does
spam filtering/filtering). I find that if you set up a filters with "penis",
"viagra", "free", "porn", "teen", "yahoo.com" (very unfortunate b/c my
primary free address is yahoo.com), "excite.com", "msn.com" and a few others
(I can find my Hotmail.com list if you're interested) you'll catch at least
50% of the spam out there

#3 don't have an e-mail address

#4 threaten legislators and the DMA with being booted out of office and
death if the barrage of unwanted, offensive, and costly (we/our ISPs pay for
spam, not the spammers themselves) spam continues. At home it's possible to
put up a sign that says "No bulk mail" or "No advertising" and your postal
carrier will comply with your wishes (or, you can simply slap a few of the
postage prepaid envelopes onto bricks and let the assholes (hmmm... assholes
isn't in M$ Word's dictionary) that send you bulk mail pay for them (never
done it but have met people who have :).
