Hi! It may be me, but I just downloaded 1.6, found it couldn't connect, downgraded to my previous 1.5 and soon had the program workable for me again. I use it with Mac OS 9.1, over a DSL line (downstream 2.5 Mbit/s), so I've got the bandwidth. And I use it with a G4 Cube. So it may be different for you. But if you haven't tried with 1.5, send me a private email, and I'll send it out to you. 1.5 is fairly speedy but it seems it cannot download more than one piece at a time. Still, I ventured to set my NetBarrier firewall to 'No restrictions' and suddenly it went 5-10 times more efficient. Close to as efficient as the Wintel and Mac OS X (Sputnix) satellites seem to be. NB. Filesharing networks are subject to lots of controversy. And people do use them in different ways. But personally, for the last 18 months, thanks to musical discoveries via filesharing over the Internet I've purchased (at sometimes very high costs) 50-60 Polish, Greek, Japanese and other legit CDs. So at least I've paid my due....
