On my beige G3, OS 9.1, I've got a SCSI boot drive, and a 3 GB IDE. The IDE
is partitioned in 3 volumes. Sometimes when I boot none of the IDE
partitions are visible. If I reboot, maybe then all three will appear.
Today, I've rebooted a dozen times, but am still only seeing either none or
just one of my IDE partitions.

"Drive setup" only reports the drives that are mounted, no amount of
"rescanning busses" brings up the missing drives, thus there is no option
to "mount". However "Apple System Profiler" is at least aware of them, it
shows them with "Note: not mounted".

With SCSI disks generally one can force mount with SCSI probe or the like,
is there anything that works for IDE?
