Kyle:

Isn't that a bit of a jump for Apple?  That would be over double in just
MHz alone.  Everything else they have done has been a few hundred MHz at
a time.  Unless they use DDR333 for the system bus, they would be using
around a 9:1 frequency, and they just started with DDR266. This
processor is going to be spinning its wheels.  Have they changed the
chip making process for this new processor?

I know for a fact that Apple has a 2.4 GHz G5 chip in teting....although
I can't say anything more about it.  Apple is reliant on their chip
manufacturers.  It's not their fault.
