Actually, my Apple Pro keyboard and Pro Mouse both run through my Newpoint
4-Port powered hub and have no problems.  The only USB problems I've seen with
plugging into hubs are some printers...

If you have the proper extensions in your system and your keyboard, mouse, and
hub work, things should be fine.  There may be a small possibility of
corruption which may entail reinstalling some extensions, tho....  Although, I
seem to remember having problems with a conflict using USB Overdrive and some
gaming extensions at one time.  Pulled USB Overdrive and all has been perfect
ever since....
