The Sawtooth G4's all use an Apple-designed processor daughter board,
having abandoned the ZIFs used from the Beige G3 through the Yikes! PCI
G4.

For an AGP G4, your options are as follows:

XLR8 and PowerLogix each make a 7410-based G4/550 upgrade.

Sonnet offers a dual-500Mhz upgrade. However, you need to determine
which revision your Uni-N chip is. Dual processor cards will not work
with a rev 3 Uni-N. Look here
http://www.sonnettech.com/support/errata/duet_errata.html to determine
your Uni-N version.

Sonnet and PowerLogix have also announced Apollo-based (MPC7450)
upgrades at 800Mhz to 1Ghz, and but these are not yet shipping.

Another option is an Apple-made processor board from another Sawtooth.
If you're willing to do some fairly minor modifications, you can use a
module from a Digital Audio or Quicksilver G4. These are sometimes
available from outlets like PowerMax, or found on eBay. Depending on the
revision of your Uni-N, you may be able to use dual-processor boards, if
you can find one.

As usual, see www.xlr8yourmac.com for details on your upgrade options.
