Well since people seem to be whining already about the thread (isnt that what a mail list is for??) guess its time to end it..
So one last update/question on it.. The router is apparently working to some extent, I can pull an IP address, I get the Gateway, etc... But I cant login to the damn thing. I found out by reading their website last night that to reset it you need to hold in the reset button until the red light goes away. I was just hitting the button and letting go which apparently is like restarting your mac.. Well no amount of the real resetting has helped. I was pretty sure the default password for the router is blank right?? Nothing is working.. Gotta find my manual, perhaps I just got the default password wrong but thats where its at now.. Another weird point to note, I cant bring up the password prompt in IE when I go to 192.168.1.1 right away.. I usually have to go and ping the router in the Network Utility, then jump back to IE and connect. If I try to connect without doing the ping, IE just hangs like I mentioned originally.. Oh well buying a new one today hehe.. -- Chris http://www.towelhead.net http://www.mp3.com/stemcellvirus http://www.mp3.com/towelhead -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
