The Linksys are very good. I have had no problems. On another Forum the
question came up, and the Linksys was most popular.

After spending WEEKS trying to get the purportedly "Mac Friendly(TM)"
MacSense router to work, including numerous tech support calls, and one
request for an RMA (denied!!!!!), I went with Linksys and it worked the first
time, all without even opening the manual.

FLASHing the Linksys firmware, which happened some months down the line, DID
require a third-party Mac client, but that was pretty simple, really.

My main beef with Mac Friendly(TM) products is: 1) they're not always as
"friendly" as they're purported to be, and 2) often they don't provide a
complete solution, such as available switches and other items of interest to
large (larger) home/small business networks.

Finally, if you're installing a home network which is provided by your
employer at his expense and is purportedly for business purposes (with pers
onal purposes being incidental to that business purpose), and he has selected
Brand L as his router-of-choice, it makes no sense (not even MacSense ...
LOL) to go against his IT standards.
