I've got a weird one here: G3 that I've successfully installed 10.1.5 on previously. I munged a bunch of permissions on it, and deleted a user, so I decided to do a clean install (wipe the HD, etc.). I have a 10.0 disk, a 9.2.1 disk, and a 10.1 updater. I've tried this is all these orders:
1) Install 9.2.1 2) Install 10.0 3) Update to 10.1 1) Install 10.0 2) Update to 10.1 3) Install 9.2.1 1) Install 10.0 2) Install 9.2.1 3) Update to 10.1 ...and, in all cases, I am unable to update past 10.1 to 10.1.5. Software update reports up-to-date. Try to run 10.1.5 updater -- says I need installer updater. So, I download Installer Updater. Won't let me install on the destination HD -- it comes up, but is greyed out. This has been the end result every time -- and I'm tired of fighting it. Any ideas or suggestions?
