Well I'll just have to buy the Radeon 8500 Mac Edition for my birthday. I'll have to drop down to a stick of 256 memory to keep the budget in place... got some other gifts to give myself that are necessary... oh well 512MB of RAM and an ATI Radeon 8500 beats 784 w/ a PCI Radeon 7000. I'll be ready for Jaguar, thats for damn sure.
peace justin btw - what is the memory on the card for? it says it has 64MB of DDR RAM. does the game load itself into the onboard memory? sorry, i am not completely sure of what all this video card stuff is technically, i just know my Rage Pro with 16 MB is not going to get the job done anymore. even when it was brand new it barely did the job. i was extremely disappointed Apple didn't put a better card in the machine... but the lure of dual processors was enough to make me take the bait 'as is'. -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
