RE.: I recomended sewing machine oil because it useually comes in an easy to
use needle tube tipped bottle,however I also have good success with
automotive oil,useing an ink refill syringe.in addition if you have a
printer getting noisy I have had good luck useing spareing amounts of
vasoline on the transfer(metal)bar so as not to get on the paper or drip. if
not for the lights to lookat I would not know these items are on or
operateing,,a little too quiet.the only real sound comes from the CD/DVD,and
the maxtor,,G4 350 2xagp,over three yrs. old, OS9.2 and lexmark z65
