You might try running the audio cable through a ferrite toroid between the turntable and the computer. Wrap the cable 3-5 times through the toroid and see if that helps.
Of course, your biggest hassle is that in trying to get rid of the 60 cycle hum, you run the real risk of killing the bass. You say it gets worse as the turntable warms up? What about adding a fan to keep the heat down. Could be a component starting to fail in the power supply board.
