RE; I have similar, every so often,no guarantee but I let it run all the way
in refridgerator, (not freezer)for several hours after it seems dead i still
leave it on then lest it rest a day then recharge as normal, so far this
works well for me. your mileage of course will vary,its not just an I-pod
thing its the class of battery used in many items that develope something
like a false memory as I was told.and they do eventualy wear out.hope this
