I am just now getting into X on my beige G3 (400mhz) and am trying to convert over but am running into some small issues. I am running 10.1.5.
I am hoping to upgrade systems with in a year but still need my current computer until then. I am unable to print to my old 740. All of my PCI slots are full so that rules out the USB card option. I recall seeing here a while ago, at least I think it was here, about an Epson 740, OS X and a beige G3. Is this combination possible? Is X able to use the serial ports at all? Please point me in the right direction, to a web site or tell me. As of yet I have not found this information on my own and so thus I turn to you!
